Specific requirements are;

G711 audio support

REINVITE support (required for handset or buddy use)

Allow multiple calls from/to a single address.

Gateways that have been tried with Solo;

Patton SmartNodes (see 4110 series (analog) and 4554/4630 series (ISDN)). These gateways are our preferred choice and we are happy to supply and assist in configuring these for you.

AudioCodes VoIP Gateways - note that these gateways are extremely difficult to configure. We highly recommend that you select a Patton gateway which we will be able to assist you with.

Linksys SPA400 4 analog lines (note - Linksys state that the SPA400 is only intended for use with their SPA9000 phone switch (below), however we have found that firmware version 1.0.1.4 is compatible with Solo directly).

Phone switches that have been tried with Solo;

Asterisk open source PBX & Telephony Platform (note - when using the 'test' SIP provider feature in Solo, Asterisk responds 'Not Found' - this indicates it IS working!).

3CX software based PBX for Windows

Linksys SPA9000

Internet based SIP providers that have been tried with Solo;

Sipgate

Vonage
