Call Recording And Editing

One of Solo's killer features is that it automatically records each on-air call for future editing and playback. Once a call has left the device, an editor icon appears on it, as shown below.

Selecting the record icon opens the record window (which follows) which gives you the opportunity to edit the call and save it to file for future use. Additionally you are able to isolate each side of the call if required.

Whereas older versions of Solo used to only record the latest call, the newer versions actually record every all that comes through the system, after which purges can be run to free storage space.

The Playback button allows you to select the channel through which the audio wave shown will be played back/

Play?Paause/Stop buttons control the playback of the audio through the channel set by the Playback button.

The next 3 controls, Full, Zoom Out and Zoom In, dictate how much of the wavefrom can be seen in the window at once.

The Save button allows you to save the current wavefrom, whether it has been edited or not.

The Cut and Paste buttons allow you to copy and move parts of the waveform.

Clicking the Levels button expands a list of possible actions that can be forformed on the waveform itself.
